Shepherd's Purse Association For Children

Established in 1999, Shepherd's Purse Association for Children (SPAC) is a national outreach organization by supporting children locally and nationally.  Growing through local grass roots efforts, SPAC strives to see illness, disease, poverty, illiteracy, hunger and all other afflictions eliminated from the lives of children.  We believe that poverty is the root cause for many of the challenges children face such as problems such as poor education, illness, disease, low self-esteem, illiteracy, etc. SPAC is positioning itself to address the needs of underserved communities local teams and strategic partnerships to make the  seemingly impossible becomes possible.

Highlights of SPAC's Impact and Reach

• Established an after-school program in the city of Albany through academic assistance and hot meals
• Created a library and outreach center in partnership with town officials in Friars Point, MS to assist in meeting the educational needs of local children.
• Partnered with Feed the Children to provide a tractor-trailer load of food and essentials in Jonestown, MS
• Provided financial support for new town hall and library in Jonestown, MS. groundbreaking
• Sponsors Annual Back to School Giveaways – providing school supplies servicing as many as 300 children per event
•  Sponsors Annual Christmas Giveaways – in partnership with Toys for Tots servicing up to 200-400 families per event. 

As we are continuously providing for children in need, we ask if you would consider making a financial commitment to support this organization with a one-time donation or on a monthly basis.  Working together, we can eliminate the negative influences facing children through poverty.
